Volunteer

Project RETURN grew out of the belief that people returning from incarceration deserve a second chance. Volunteers are an essential part of the mission of Project RETURN and there are many ways in which you can become involved:

  • Become trained in Circles of Support (mentoring returning citizens in a supportive atmosphere)
  • Work with staff members canvassing neighborhoods (weather permitting)
  • Help to plan fundraising events
  • Become a member of the Board of Directors
  • Serve on a committee of the organization (eg marketing, advocacy)
  • Become an active member of the Transformational Justice movement

Volunteer opportunities are ever evolving, with new opportunities routinely emerging.  For more information of how to volunteer at Project RETURN, e-mail our office manager Teri.
