Every year, around 2,500 people return to the Greater Milwaukee Area from incarceration...​

Many of these individuals return to the community with little more than the clothes on their back.  Project RETURN accepts donations from the community to help with this immediate need for those returning from incarceration.  

Some of the most-needed items are:
  • Gently used and laundered clothing
  • Under-garments for men and women
  • Hygiene Products (Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Razor, Hairbrush/Comb, Washcloths, Feminine Hygiene Products, Shaving Cream, Toenail Clippers, Lotion, etc.)
  • Laundry Detergent, Bleach
  • Toilet Paper
  • Coats
  • Hats & Gloves
  • Food Cards
  • Bus Passes/Gas Cards  

Project RETURN also accepts donations of functional furniture and other small household items that can accommodate a new house or apartment. 

Some of the most-needed furniture items are:
  • Beds
  • Dressers
  • Pillows & Blankets
  • Pots & Pans
  • Kitchen Table & Chairs
